Question Fire Suppression Systems

I'm looking at installing a fire suppression system in my track car. Trying to decide between a 11# mechanical Halon SPA system and a 10# Halon Safecraft (FRS10) system.
Any opinions between the two?
Thanks.

John,

no opinion between the two, but am very satisfied with the quality of the Safecraft system components which I recently installed.

Best,

The Safecraft is $499 (IO Port) and the SPA (Pegasus) $450 not installed.

Check out bellmotorsports.com, pricing below, plus you should also consider a hand neld as well, I run with both, here in CA grass fires are as big if nit bigger problems, and a onboeard system will not help you there but a hand held will.

CJV-
as always it truely depends.....
That being said and IF you have a gutted interior it will most likely take 1-2 days to install depending on how experianced your installer is, or if your like me and do it your self about 3-4 days (with a gutted interior)
the system i installed was a SPA 6 nozzel electric activation system using the flexable tubing that comes with the system (which is way easier than the normal AL tubing that is supplied with most systems.
i would figure between 1000.00 and 2000.00 to have some one install it (Gutted interior to start with) and more if you have to remove all the interior peices and reinstall them afterwords.
all IMHO
