#2 is pretty amusing, particularly on a Porsche forum...

Our site is back up, by the way. Apparently we were getting slammed by a single server in China which was opening 50,000 connections on every port. Bizarre. So either we got randomly targeted by an above average hacker, or we've made enemies in the cut-throat world of driving simulation...

There's no doubt that the Frex simulator is far more affordable, and that it provides reasonable performance for the price.

Heh, yes, it was a bit cold. Particularly from a guy who owns a 944...

But the point stands. It may do the job, and it's better than the alternative, and it may even be a great piece of kit (never tried one personally so I don't know; whether they have motion lag is a big question and their videos aren't good enough to answer it) but it's just not the same.

We don't have any official distributors in Asia. We've got close contacts in Taiwan (though mainly on the flight simulation side) and Singapore, however. We're working with a Thai importer, as well.

But we don't have any official distributors per se. Because business is done very, very differently in asia than in the west, it's something we're not jumping into too fast, particularly given stories from mainland China about companies that not only had their products copied, but that had entire operations set up in their name complete with (sometimes superior) R&D and marketing departments, without ever knowing!

Can you provide the info for where these units are in San Diego? Are they available for the public to use?

Frankie, Frankie, Frankie. You make things too easy; it's like shooting fish in a barrel. 'nuff said.
