Default Hoosier Wet-Direction?

Which direction do your run the Hoosier DOT wet tires? There is no sidewall indicators, but the thread looks very directional.

They go the way you would expect. Points first.

run in the proper orientation it is acceptable to remount the tire in the opposite direction to even out the wear.
Of course they say "In most cases", so if the tread looks directional mount it the way you think it should go.

Tread should touch the ground when the wheel is on the car. If it doesn't you've done something wrong.

Yes. points first but I swear I saw them mount them backwards in the 24. Can't remember the car but it was a shot w/the front left tire man ready w/the tire and it would have been backwards if they mounted it on that side.

I try to run mine in the direction that the track is going. That usually works best.

IRL the direction of the pattern plays an insignificant role. The tire is moving to fast for the angle of the grooves to make a difference.

Now I'm confused. One person states sideways and the other forward.

I might just stick with dry tires and skip this rain stuff!
