Does anyone have a favorite brand or supplier for RH safety nets?...We are going to need them for NASA racing this season.

Hey;

The 3-point that Vaughan shows does have some advantage in coverage. To some extent, how many points you get depends on your ability to mount it in the proper position. Many times, some custom treatments to the exisiting cage are necessary.

The Safety Solutions net is nice. One Simpson 2 point has adjustable inner webbing for tailored fitting to your mount architecture.

I use the Safety Solutions C5R net in the race car. They have several different models. I got the black Kevlar version. Kevlar is a bit more expensive, but doesn't stretch as much.

I know a couple of people have posted pictures, but I still cannot figure out from the pictures where the front attached (in a 944 in my case) if the cage has no knee bar.

No knee bar in this case - I have a dash bar, which is what the net attaches to. I supposed if you don't have a dash bar, and don't wish to install one, you would have to find something in there solid enough to attach to. Thinking about the structure behind there (at least in the early '44's), I don't think there's much to work with...

Would either a 3 or 2 point side net work in my 964 as is, or would the cage need some modifications?

I've used the Simpson RedLineMan shows for the past few years.
