I like this video of Patrick Depailler in a Tyrrell F1 car on a wet Montreal circuit. His car control seems super-human. No electronic traction control here.

Patrick Depailler having fun

I love how he drives the car sideways down the straights, wheels spinning all the way.

Sweet video. It's great to hear the driver's on the lap; it really complements the video well.

But then you can't hear the engine and gears. Maybe there should be alternate audio soundtracks that you can pick from. Additionally, I would like to see the RPM, speed, gear, and boost gauges on-screen as well

that was some hit at LRP. Where you wearing a HANS device? Looks like your head really gets slapped around.

Yes I was wearing a HANS as the series mandates them. The HANS mainly limits the forward movement of your head and not the side to side movement. That is why now we are using the RaceTech Seats. They help to limit the side to side motion that you saw in the LRP crash. It took me a couple sessions to get used to the seats as I kept sticking my head forward for some reason.

Awesome thanks, always love race footage.

I watched LRP like 10 times, I didnt ever see anyone behind you in mirror or anything. You seemed to have been back on the track long enough for someone to get around you, what happened? Your car probably didnt fair to well either did it?

Bitch Bitch Bitch! Some people are just never happy!

Yeah, hearing the motor racing tranny is awesome, but sometimes I like hearing a different soundtrack. Keeps it interesting.*

(*) As if these videos get boring. Damn, that's an unfortunate footnote I've just added.

The Blue BMW you see in front of me gets into the slower lapped traffic which sends the blue BMW sideways across the track and I was the lucky guy who was in his path. The car was damaged but rebuildable.

Here is a small picture of the crash:
