Here's a video for anyone planning to do the Ring in the near future and needing good footage. We were allowed to tape while instructing/coaching on a closed course event in August. Low speed laps to teach the on track line (racing would impose alot of ridding over the curbs). Notice the "white dots" that were spray painted onto the track for the course at the turn-in, apex (some are for superbikes so ignore them). The marks unfortunately don't last and with the all the graffiti, don't look for them on your first laps if they are there.
Oh, ignore the two 911's in front who are f***ing around.

I posted this once before, but for those of you who haven't seen it, here is about 10 minutes of video from the 2006 Watkins Glen Club Race enduro. Best bet is to right click & download (55 meg). It should be fun to watch as I am coming up on lapped traffic and have to pass quite a few cars in some interesting places, including avoiding contact, and making an outside pass in the toe of the boot.

LOLOLOL...I got mine mentioned twice. The 2nd time was this past may at Mid Ohio. Some a$$holio from Cana-DUH "droving" a Lexus IS300 rammed me from behind on the passenger side on a restart, right into the sand trap at T13. Had to be towed out, causing a FCY, which the announcers dutifully explained on the MagniVision big screens. Then said a$$holio claimed that I had rammed him (even though he was behind me & the marks were on my RR and his LF). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

I didn't say they ALL were. Coulda just as easily been an a$$holio from Houston...
