Need an instructor at Potomac's Summit Point DE on 8/18-820
Would like one of you 911 guys (that Club Race if possible) to give me some schooling at Summit Point during the Potomac DE coming up. I'm coming off a humbling run at Limerock and will be working my way back to full speed and would greatly appreciate the benefit of a good instructor. I plan on the October Club Race being my rookie appearance and really need this DE to be a solid learning experience on this (somewhat) unfamiliar track. I'm a safe driver in a well prepped G Stock car and am not out to prove anything, just want the benefit of your experience here. I run in White and certainly can learn from more than one source so if during the three days I can get a couple of different inputs that would be great..
Please PM me if you will be available, even for just a few laps here and there.

Gary,
If you haven't heard from anyone yet, there are a lot of good instructors in the Potomac club. I'm a new instructor and a rookie Club Racer too, so good instruction may be a stretch. Here are some folks I would recommend catching up with at the event if things aren't lined up already:
Manny Alban
Mark Lee (in Baltimore)
Betty/Gary Church
Good Luck and track me down at Summit - I'll probably be in the paddock with Mark and Manny and some other rennlisters (Todd B, Sam N).

Thanks Skip!
As Mark said he had graciously volunteered to ride with me for a bit (as did Jim from Virginia) and as it's a three day event there should be plenty of time to practice whatever I can pick up from you guys.
I really appreciate and am looking forward to it!

Mark - you probably forgot about my Dad and me coming because I'm so slow you don't worry about keeping up with me only about me getting out of your way (which I have become pretty good at).
Yes, I'm all teched and ready to get to the track. It has been way toooooooo long since I've gotten some track time with the two kids at home. My Dad is going to come and will be driving my car in Green.
It should be fun and save me a space.

That's right, I forgot your dad is coming. Very cool.
I'll definitely save a bunch of spaces. I'll be up there on Thursday but it may be later in the evening, after the trailer drop. I'll have to see what happens with work.

If you don't get in the gates on Thursday night, I'll probably get there before you on Friday, so do you want to try to setup where we usually do - mid paddock on the main drag?

Ask to drive with Nando too. There are a lot of low profile but fast drivers in Potomac I corps. SP will suck you in to thinking it is a simple cow town track but it is far from it.

P.S. There are many good insructors at Potomac, and I really like Nando's style.

If Dwayne Moses, Tom Holmes, or Rick Feldman show up, get one of them in the car. They are three of the fastest guys in G class in a 911 SC.
