Default Anybody going to VIR next week with Chin Motorsports?

Anybody going to VIR next week, July 3-4, with Chin Motorsports?

Four 1/2 sessions for each group and then a 90 minute session from 4:00 - 5:30 each day.

I've never run with Chin, but I'm looking forward to it.

Brian Keith Smith and I'll be there.

Just tell them you won't be there.
End of discussion...

Yes, just call in "well". Tell them you feel way too good to waste the day working.

James,
You will love Chin, it is tailored made for someone of your experience and talent level. You will be able to pass when you want and when you can. Stay safe.(Full cours I assume.)

I will be coming back from WGI with Potomac and will be doing the family thing for the 4th. Truly enjoyed us getting together at VIR two weeks ago in the last session on Saturday, have a poster of it on the wall in the rec room.

You are one fast Porche driver!!!!!

Yep, I'll be there.

After looking at the roster, and knowing some of the people attending, there will be a fast advanced group.

I'll also put in a plug for Chin. We went to VIR for their event a couple of years ago (as part of TracQuest, which Chin bought), and we've been to several Watkins Glen events (and a Mid-Ohio trip) with them, and it's a good group: good drivers, good instructors, stinkloads of track time, and relatively liberal rules that actually work really, really well.

I'd still like to attend their events, but my schedule hasn't permitted it in the last year or so... But I intend to go back.

MacGT3,

That was a good run we had. I was pedaling as fast I could to keep up with you. Unfortunatly I noticed I had a problem with one of my rear tires Sun morn when I got to the track and had to leave. I was looking forward to running Sunday with you.

Bigpinekey,

I saw your car I think at the Mazda Driving Assoc event at VIR a couple of weeks ago. Sorry I didn't say hello, but I'll see you there next week.

Yea, I was there. I've seen you around at a bunch of the events, too. Seems like there's a core group of guys like us who go to most of these track events.

After reviewing the schedule, I'm hope I'm bringing enough tires with me. That much track time takes its toll.

I'll see you there.

LOL. I just got some new tires and pads. I'll be ready this time!

There is no such thing as "enough track time". It doesn't exists. Even an infinite amount of track time isn't enough - so bring plenty of tires and Gatorade!

It looks like a fast group. We should all have a BLAST!

Damn I want to go!

Hopefully when I am there w/ Potomac in Sept. I will be on Hoosiers. Sounds like a great group for Chin though.

Ya'll look out for a Red Z06 on 710s. There should be some flamingos nearby and healthy chics in skimpy bikinis in a hammock at the paddock.

Hey Jim! The flamingos have a pass for the event, but the hefty chics were turned down.
