Default GT3 Cup Dyno Results - need feedback

Hello to everyone. I have a 2000 Cup Car which posted the following results on a DynoJet post rebuild in late 2005.

Would simply like some comments about where you think these numbers are versus other 2000 and also 2004-05 cars?

RWPH: 331
TQ: 254

Dyno sheet attached

seems low to me, compared to what Glen has told me an early engine makes. I hope you bring THAT engine this weekend

Close to normal for 2000-2002 using the 15% rule. Looks like a momentum car to me ;->

Chris, Our motors are very close in output. My output is 407 and yours is 390ish.

Seems low, but you cannot compare dyno to dyno. My GT3 pulled 387 rwhp on a Mustang dyno, and even at 10% high it still is monsterous. It would run with any cup car down any straight. If you can run with other cup cars down the straight, then it is probably around 345~350 rwhp..

Is that with the engine lid open or closed?

Bill, your engine is actually MUCH MUCH stronger than his... makes over 400HP from 7K all the way to 8K. Our cup cars die after 7500,

Bill, both dyno graphs are RWHP, so you are about 70hp more than the cup car. You need to compare your 407 with his 331 even though Rick's Dynapack says "Flywheel HP". Your car was run without any drivetrain loss factor, so it treats RWHP as FWHP.

It has been my experience that a Dynojet 248C will read higher than a Dynapack, or Dyno Dynamics. Mustang dynos are user calibrated so they are all over the place. I have never really liked the Mustangs and there is a wide range of outputs I've seen from dyno to dyno due to the calibration.

Another 2000 cup car with roughly 85 hours produced 335rwhp on a Dynapack dyno as a comparison. It has been my experience that if you tested the same car on a Dynojet 248C it would have read higher by 10-20hp.

I drive an 01 BMW 330Ci with 200whp/200wtrq, does that classify me as a momentum car?

The numbers a a little low, but the curves look exactly as they are supposed to. The difference might be the correction factor due to ambient conditions.
