Just installed shaved RA1's on my 964 C2
...I bought 205/40 17's and 255/40 17's, the 205's look really small. Is anyone running the 205's and did I make a mistake? Are they going to last with -2.5 camber in front?

RA1's are a great choice. They wear like iron and stick very well. I ran DE's with them and got 50+ heat cycles with neg 2.5 and neg 2.0
Have some fun!

The 205-40-17 is a great tire and will certainly last. I used these on the Mini and hardly used them up. Very fast little tire and Soooooo light.
The Mini will eat up a front tire faster then most so don't worry.

Problem cropped up after driving 6 miles.....
I think the size differential front to rear is causing my ABS light to come on. I may have to go back to a 205/45 17

I didn't note that you were using a non-standard size. I used the 205/50 (25.3") and 255/40 (25.1").
FWIW, I now run 23.5 and 25" slicks (f/r) and my ABS light does not come on (after a few events anyway). I'm right on the edge of where it should fail (due to difference in diameter).

My dad has a 93 C2. He runs RA1's on the track. 235-40-17 in front and 255-40-17 in the rear. The car is lowered and he has no rubbing issues in front. I can't remember how much negative camber is in the front though. He also did not have to roll the fenders.
