Question Is there a roll bar that can easily be installed/ uninstalled ?

I am looking for one that could EASILY be totally or partially dismantled .

In Spain you are not allowed to drive on streets with a roll bar installed. ( I understand that there are serious doubts on the safety of a roll bar, in case of a road accident without helmet ..) My main use of the car is tracking but this is no more than 12 track events a year. I have heard that the DAS bar takes at least 2 hours to be installed. It does not appeal at all to carry all this work previous to, and after, a track day...on top of other maintenance work...

Any suggestion ? ...please...

I have a Safety Devices cage. I can get the rear hoop section out in about an hour and ten minutes, which includes taking out and reinstalling both seats. I doubt you will be able to do it much faster than that, regardless of brand.

www.redlinerennsport.com

Takes about 20 minutes to install or remove.

However, shipping costs to Spain could be prohibitive.

You are in Spain so check out that Heigo place.

There was a link to it in the forums not that long ago.

The Das rollbar is about 30 minutes to take out. Just get a buddy to help you. You gotta take out both seats, cover the steering wheel with something protective and the center console and then it comes out pretty easy.

Putting it in is the reverse and takes about an hour maybe. Harder to put it in because of lining it up for bolts etc.

Safety Devices is a British firm I believe, so it should be available closer to home for him.
