Anyone have a part number for the Porsche Q/R? I would be interested in seeing what Sunset would sell it for since they seem to be by far the cheapest on other Porsche parts.

I just used a paint pen to line the two pieces up. Not a hassle at all. But you have to make sure you get it clicked all the way in. I had the wheel in my hands at speed on the front straight of Mid Ohio, once...

Pretty sure it has a motorsport part number - so it's unlikely that Sunset would have it.

It's pure art - definately worth the price.

Is the Momo hub adapter related to the Porsche Motorsport quick release?

Default Not a track car per se, but I have an SPW QR that I like.

SPW Quick Release link

With the Momo adapter and the SPW quick release there is no need for a dished wheel or spacer.

All the ones that are splined or hex are strictly for show, no place for them in any car.
I wonder if the F1 teams or WRC teams know this?

The Motorsport quick release is designed to be used with the same 6 bolt mounting arrangement that a Momo steering hub adapter has. The long hub adapter (from splines to 6 bolt mounting) is about 3" long and the short is about 2" long. Your 964 Cup car has a Momo steering wheel, or I should say that it came from the factory with a Momo steering wheel and hub adapter. If you use a seat with a halo, then you'll need to remove the steering wheel for ingress/egress on the driver's side. Using both the hub adapter and the quick release puts the steering wheel in a NASCAR position where, for me, at average height/weight it was too close. I cut the Momo adapter and machined a small 1/2" spacer/adapter to move the steering wheel farther away.

I have no problem removing mine from outside the car, although you do reach in with two hands instead of one.
