Default Anyone with a 5L ESS AFFF bottle in a 911?

I'm looking at getting this (http://www.apexperformance.net/cartg...?pid=55&cid=7), but I'm not sure where I mount a bottle that big? Anyone have one in a 911? Where did you put it (behind seats, front trunk)?

Most people put them in the passenger footwell. Some put them in the front but it's a longer path to the engine that way. There's probably room behind the driver or passenger seats.

How big is the bottle?

That's what I don't know. I don't have the bottle, and I haven't come across the specs for it's size. I'd like to put it in the passenger footwell, but 5L sounds pretty big.

There's a phone number listed in the installation document link below. I haven't had a chance to call them myself.

I emailed ESS directly. They're in CA.

My 5 Liter bottle measures 19" from bottom to top of cap. Here's a pic of it installed in a 944 behind the passenger seat area. It's not a 911 but gives you an idea of the size.

Top 2 pictures are of the bottle:

My bottle is mounted on the rear seat behind the driver. It's too big to fit in the footwell.

Thanks guys. Looks like it'll have to go in the back seat. Maybe a good thing anyway. Less chance of s student kicking it.

Did you see the post by Chrisp below, he's got a GB going for about 15% off these systems.
