I'm planning to go up from Tampa. I usually drive to the track but I'm planning to rent a trailer. Maybe we could rent a double?

Just for information purposes. Camping will be available for the first time at the VIR Event. Full time security will be provided.

I have an extra room in the Sleep Inn Danville for anyone interested. Scheduled it last Sept in anticipation of the event. Dont need it however. Cant guarantee the price as they would not committ at the time. Let me know if your interested. jon

Available camping may just make me sign up. Nothing like waking up and being there.

Avoid the Economy Inn on 3050 W. Main St. I had to stay there when I couldn't find a room anywhere else at last year's VIR CR. It's cheap at $39/night, but you get what you pay for with a crappy, old room and paper thin walls. More importantly, you have the joys of being woken up every two hours by the passing trains 300 yards away. Lots of fun.

Anyone else not getting a confirming e-mail when attempting to register a new account at www.driverregistration.com? I thought I'd create my account now so that registering for VIR on the 16th would be smoother, but I have not gotten the confirmation e-mail in more than 12 hours. Maybe it's not an automated process?
