Race car trailer rental
Where in the MA/Boston area can I rent a closed trailer to haul a car? Here in the north east, I guess this isent as popular as in the south.

Can't help you with a place to rent. However, as someone who has rented trailers in the past to haul a car, be sure to inspect the trailer tires for bulges when you pick it up, as well as anything else on the tires that looks strange. Most rental places will provide you with one spare tire. Ask for a second one, and pay for it if they won't give it to you for free.
It's no fun to be in the first 50 miles of a 1000 mile round trip, have a blowout, then be left without a spare tire...on a Sunday night when all the tire shops are closed. Ask me how I know this...

I wasn't joking. He's in jail on 20k cash bond for stealing and chopping numerous cars, including that of fellow rennlister rolexnj's 3.0 951. He also stole a Ferrari mentioned here on RL some months ago. See the post at the top of the 951 board for the whole story.

Just read the thread. Amazing - arrested for car theft and running a chop shop at the time he was trying to rent the trailer.

Unbelievable.... For me ALL the POS's who steal cars should have a life sentence imposed on them. The act of stealing is a very deliberate act and there should be ZERO tolerance for these kind of crimes.

Hey, we need more information on this guy. Hanging out on web forums chatting with members and finding out what cars to steal seems to easy. Howabout posting a mug shot of this character. He never even joined Rennlist!

That was back in the day. We should rehabilitate the misguided youth. Probably came from an abused disfunctional family.
