20 days
20 day is for the tracks Club Members, not car club members... At least that is what the co owner of VIR told us when we were having dinner last week at VIR. There should be ample track time available for all of us.

This was just e-mailed to me by the past president of Reisentoter region, PCA.
I think that I am going to cry with joy!
Last night at dinner, I ran into the three principles of New Jersey Motorsports Park. Harvey Siegel said the track will be very similar to his last project, VIR and he plans to lay asphalt in March. After dinner we all walked to the Millville town meeting, where the final site plan for phase 1 was unanimously approved. Phase 1 includes Thunderbolt Raceway, a 4 mile road course, 100 garages, country club clubhouse, VIP Suites and Karting Track.

I'd sure like to hear from someone who has done such a day there and can explain how it differs from a PCA event.

Larry, don't cry unless you put on the rain tires... we could flood the south Jersey area with tears of joy. BTW, if you find a cheap RSA or Cup and decide against it,please pass it along to me...Thanks

Outstanding! I really hate the traffic and suburbanization around here in NoVA, but with Summit, VIR and now NJ in range for weekend trips this isn't such a bad place to live.

The project has been given the green flag to start construction!

Millville is about 45 minutes +/- from AC. One thought would be to buy something at the shore....Sea Isle, Avalon or Stone Harbour would be closest at about 35 to 40 minutes..... and have a beach/track house.

Hmm - Shenandoah this year, Thunderbolt raceway in a couple years... the North East may regain it's 'heart of road racing' status...

PS: Now if they can only bring back The Bridge...
