Love my Alpinestars. Most comfortable gloves I have had so far.

I have a pair of the OMP Challengers, and while long, I find them really comfortable, and don't even notice them when I'm on the track.

Timely question. I need Santa to bring me some new gloves and I should probably send a note to the North Pole soon...

Charlie,
Ask Santa for a pair of Alpinestars...you'll be very pleased.

Alpinestars all the way, the precurved fingers....everything about them feels great.

Make sure to try the different sizes on though, they are not one size fits all.

What model Alpinestars? What's the difference between the F1-TL, F1-T, F1-R and F1-RL?

Charlie,
I have the F1-Ts right now but they are starting to get pretty worn so I'm putting a pair of F1-Rs on my Christmas list. I think I was a good enough boy this year......

The T is leather palm. The R has suede. Some info here:

http://www.saferacer.com/alstragl.html

I have bought from them a few times. Good folks. (Usual dislaimer: No affiliation, yada, yada)

Ditto. I used to have Simpsons, but these Alpinestars are much better.

Hey Tony,

Nice avatar! When did you change it? Your TT looks great in its natural element - the track!

I have the Sparco gloves with the outside seams. They really look goofy, but the are the most comfortable racing gloves I have ever had.

I also use the same Sparco gloves as Larry. They are the best I have ever used.
