Default Is it time to rotate my R-compounds ?

This is my first set of R-compounds, and I am running the corsa's at 36 hot. But, due to the lack of camber the outside edges are wearing off, my next event will be a 3-day event at mid-ohio, should I rotate the tires at this time or wait till after my next DE. As you can see the outside edge tread is totally worn and the inside is barely touched. As I understand it's fine to have the grooves going the wrong way as long as it does not rain.

Thanks, I guess I'll have to do an allignment as well, and may be in the long run it'll be cheaper to upgrade my suspension and tune in proper camber. Switching to street tires is NOT an option at this point

As above, flip them on the rim now. It's a pain, but you have to be a little proactive on the flipping or you will never catch up.

My Corsa's just got here today so I have to ask. I'm late to the topic but I wasn't aware the Corsa's could be flipped on the same wheel and its not an issue with handling. I'm planning on having another 1 degree of camber dialed in before my next DE b/c its too neutral but this is somewhat surprising news to me.

My first R compound as well, the price on these sure beats the MPSC so we shall see!
TIA

Flipping them on the rim keeps the same rotation, just puts the tire on the other side of the car, inner becomes outer and visa versa. Every tire I have run allows for this. I do not have personal experience or reference on the Corsa, so you may want to check. I'd be surprised if it's an issue though.

I was told that the Corsa's inner and outer edges are different thicknesses, and they should not be rotated.

Well, I will not be able to make it to the planned DE in two weeks, Damn...so, my next one will not be till sept/02 . But, I hate compromises, so I don't want to flip if there is doubts on whether it could be flipped, so to get more negative camber and to do this properly I went ahead and placed an order for the porsche sport suspension for my car (X73) just a few minutes ago.

I spoke w/Pirelli today (not an engineer) and he said he had heard of flipping the tire on the rims. The same measurements from inside to outside edges w/the only difference being the tread pattern.

I to will be dialing in more camber before before DE and start lower on cold pressures to avoid past issue other have had w/these tires.
