I am going to buy a H&N system and am trying to figure what to buy.

Hans: The standard, effective, and the most expensive.

Issacs: Appears effective, from very affordable (Link) to somewhat affordable,

R-3: Appears effective, somewhat affordable, used independent of restraint system in car.

The hans is more than I want to spend at this point. The link takes away all the monetary excuses. The r-3 looks good if i become an instructor.

Other opinions and feedback would be appreciated.

IIRC, there was a H&N restraint poll a while back in this forum.
The HANS was the most widely used, followed by the ISAAC and the R3.

There have been some very "lively" discussions regarding these devices. None is perfect (nature abhores perfection and adores entropy); each has it's own advantages; any 1 of the 3 is much better than nothing.

A search of this forum will provide at least a night or two of reading material.
