Congratulations Tim!!!! You've had a good year for a rookie race year! I think word got out that you only have one good eye and everyone is trying to learn how to pass on your left!
Just kidding buddy, great job. See you out there soon.

Tim: Wasn't I in I-class lead for even a little while? I was 3 seconds/lap off previous day qual. lap & you kept getting faster in enduro. Good job. I agree w/driver of #686--physically/mentally tough driving--& I know nothing was wrong w/ my car except tires, maybe. The story will be on the racesite.com shortly and most of what you speak about is mentioned--best of my reporting ability, so forgive any miscues.
#686, did you get hit in the enduro, too? Saw a spin but could not tell if you had been helped...again.

You think your tires were bad on Saturday, you should have seen what they did during the enduro. The start was more of a ho hum one compared to the sprint but all in all, it was a clean race. Only a few yellow flag areas, no full course. Did you all make it back without hitting any deer?

Lap 24 - 137, 29 pits, 26
Lap 25 to lap 29 - 137, 26, 29
Lap 30 - 137, 29 passes 26
Lap 31 - 137 pits, 29, 26
Lap 32 - 137 stop and go penalty, 29, 26
Lap 33 to Finish Lap 42 - 29, 26, 137
Highlights:
#137 qualified 23, as high as 3rd Position at lap 31, finished 25th overall, best lap 1:59.972 at lap #4
#29 qualified 31 and finished 16th overall, best lap 1:59.991 at lap #30
#26 qualified 32 and finished 18th overall, best lap 2:01.691 at lap #12
I managed my tires well and kept getting faster and faster as the race progressed. I could have probably pushed harder earlier. However, a tire pressure correction by my pit crew of Performance Imports during my pit stop at lap 24 was the key to me getting faster laps in at the end of the race.
Good race Ian and Patti. Ian sorry for you bad luck and we will all be together again at Roebling Road in December.

Glad to see you bumped up out of my class. We were strongly considering that paint scheme for my 993 after it gets repaired. Looks good!. However, we are now leaning towards doing the white car with the gulf car scheme with it's orange and navy blue over white instead of the gulf blue....
Anyway, see you next year at CMP in the spring?
