Rennsport One Theft
In case anyone hasn’t seen this story - truck trailer and four Clubsports were stolen from RS1 this week. I’ve had work done at Justin’s shop before - he’s a good guy so hopefully they turn up somewhere.

Saw this story too. Just terrible. My guess is the cars are in containers headed overseas. Repainted/rewrapped or not, unscrupulous people can run them for track days in other countries without raising suspicion, whereas they would surely raise red flags if they showed up at any track here.

RS1…such a great GT4 Team. Have to think with all the webcams out there. A diligent search should be able to locate and ID the individual transport vehicles. The RS1 is pretty unmistakable.
Hopefully resolves soon.

Not sure if it would help but I hope they let Porsche Motorsports know, specifically the VINs in case someone down the road wrecks one and tries to do a re-tub.

Great point. I also think you also need the VINs to access the suite of online help/tools they have on PMRSI? Ordering parts could be another catch point. None of this helps recover the cars before the next race unfortunately. Hopefully someone can lend/rent RS1 what they need to finish a strong season.

Looks like RS1 was able to field some cars and equipment to compete in GT World this weekend at Barber.

That looks like a Freightliner Columbia model about MY 2000’sh +/-. I have owned hundreds of them. They were the hot ticket for fleets on budget.
A thief can steal them in 1min or less - I saw someone show me that they can bang really hard in the middle of the door above the door handle, it pops the door open, then you life the hood since it is non-locking and jump the starter solenoid and that’s it.
I hope that there was satellite tracking on the trailer.

I Hope they get their stuff back.
The articles state that the trailer had a tracker and that's how they found the abandoned Freightliner. The trailer tracker was disabled at that location.
