As of now the propsed schedule is:

Saturday - Warm ups, and 2 sprint races for each Run Group.

Amazing to see more racing adding to the schedule!! No other sprint racing organization offers anywhere as much track time as PCA - and here we are, getting even more ... at one of the most iconic tracks in North America. Super exciting. BIG thanks to Lou and Rico and the whole Zone 1 crew!!

I noticed a little change on the registration page to the opening date. Will registration still open today?

I haven’t seen any of the usual email reminders from club racing. What’s up with that? Thanks for posting here.

I love the new format this year! This will be great. Plenty of racing for all.

Cool! Are there points offered for all four races? If it's goes on your probation tab it must have points right

PCA's Championship rules dictate that only three races per weekend earn points; that means the enduro and the final two sprints in this case (just like NJMP).

Wish that would change. It's basically the return of the fun race, minus two less risky starts.

As I understand, it's a legit, full length sprint with starting order decided by quali results, and whose fast lap will seed the grid for Sprint 2; its akin to the first sprint at NJMP on Saturday morning.

We had this at LRP years ago where the first sprint race didn't count. Many times once a driver was happy with their lap time to grid them for Sprint 2 they would pull in.

Unless its a points race it is just another quali session.

Sounds like a waste of a heat cycle, to me! But thankfully, I think most racers will be excited by the extra racing ...

Really? Excited to win a no points race?

If there are no points, and it grids you for the next race, than my incentive is always going to be the best lap time instead of winning the race.

Points or no points - I'm taking every win I'm lucky enough to earn!

I'm also taking every win I'm lucky enough to not earn!
