PCA Medical Committee isn't convinced and has referred this to see if Luigi installed advanced software similar to self driving cars. It's still under review with a meeting scheduled for October.

I think regardless of how our PCA overlords decide this matter they have revealed that they don't care about the members. The people at the top think it is "their club" and woe to anyone who challenges that narrative.
It been three months since this started and every day that goes by without any response is proof that PCA is a corporation and not a car club.
PCA is not here for us. Its here for "the leadership."

We had a similar experience when my daughter was attending a private school, and it got to the point where we had to take legal action.

It's just human nature.
No one wants to admit a mistake, and look like a fool, and birds-of-a-feather leadership will always stick together.
Ironically, the longer the 'gang' hangs tough and refuses to acknowledge a mistake, the bigger fools they all look.
But damned if they can change direction now...

This has become a tug of war for me. I'm kinda being torn.
I love PCA. I love everything they've done for me over the years.
They made me the driver I am.
They made me the instructor I am. They are the reason I have hundreds of new friends, even if I mostly see them in the paddock all the time. Some outside the paddock arena as well.
PCA has treated me well and I've always loved them for it. They showed me a new way of life, the track way.
It has become a huge part of MY and my family's life right now. We love it. Track, autocross, holiday parties (although I missed this years), tech, rallies, swaps, etc.
The other side, I am really not at all happy that Todd is being treated this way.
He is a friend too and I am beginning to wonder who I have been loyal to all these years.
That's a problem for me.
I've never had anything done to me or my family by PCA like what they're doing to Todd right now.
I do feel his pain, and I do understand that he is standing on principal, and for that I am proud of him.
I feel pulled in both directions concerning PCA right now.
Not sure why I needed to post this, but that's how I feel. Torn.

Seems more like "PCA is standing on principle" vs doing what's actually correct and rational. People have forgotten that its OK to change direction or correct yourself, if you're proven to be wrong initially. Standing on principle when you're wrong is just being bullheaded. And PCA is wrong here.

Great post, but I would flip one thing, "he is standing on principal"

PCA is standing on anything BUT principal, hence my torn feeling. It's Todd that's standing on principal. My $.02

The only principle these PCA 'leaders' are standing on is to assert their authority and show who's boss, even when they're in the wrong. It's sad.
