Red Bull needs to find a way to make that happen.

Red Bull as a company needs to think outside the box with Max if they want to keep him. They are involved with every form of motorsports, let him (assuming he wants to) participate in whatever he wants under the RedBull banner when he has time. Try things out. Keep him in the family.

This would be incredible. Had a chance to meet Kimi after his Cup race at COTA last year when we were both waiting for our planes to be pulled up at the FBO.
Had no idea what his mood was gonna be like as it was a pretty **** race for him, so I asked Minttu if he was OK to approach. Her response: 'of course, he won't bite'
Chatted about F1 for a bit and he signed my copy of How to Build a Car. Both he and his wife were extremely nice and seemed happy to be there - probably helped that his kids were there as well.

Like a little brother pulling on his big brother's shirt, Max has been saying he would love to team up with Alonso, someone he looks up to and truly respects, and his father Jos, to do the 24 Hrs. of LeMans. He has said he wants to do it before his dad gets too old to do it as well. I don't think F1 is long for Max as he's already spoken about the end of his time there.

I think there is not a snowballs chance in hell that RB lets Max drive for another team. He has a contract and they would enforce it.

You have a point with an exit clause caused by Newey's departure. I was thinking only of a clause based on performance. Although the RB has been less competitive as the season progressed, it is not to the point where a reasonable contract would give a driver an out.

Interesting and Stroll certainly has the money to do this, but would he replace his son.

RedBull is already extremely aware of how to cross-promote or how to utilize a driver with Travis Pastrana. They'd just need to follow a similar template in different series.
