What reaction are you expecting from instructors watching that video?

Good point - it's been renamed something less exaggerated to be more palatable

Is there anything you think instructors might find noteworthy in the video, other than the title?

Edit: I see that you trimmed out most of the video. Why?

Though your attempt to make a point is extremely passive aggressive, your point is still right. I wouldn't want to give off the wrong impression here in poor humor so I corrected it, which contrary to getting into some exchange with a keyboard warrior, really felt like the right thing to do. I stand corrected!

I wanted to see if you saw the problem. I’m not sure that you entirely did.

Aggressively riding the bumper of a car in Blue, to the point where he might fear being hit, drive in his mirrors, and possibly have an incident himself, is no laughing matter. You also came up very fast on a car with an X on the back. Did you consider how that might affect that driver? There’s a basic courtesy and awareness problem here.

As a long time instructor and former safety chair, I was appalled at what I saw in the video. The fact that you posted the video in the first place and changed it only after I commented shows that you need think more about DE safety.

I'm no keyboard warrior, but I saw what appeared to be an instructor driving an instructor candidate in a very inappropriate fashion in a lower run group. As Manifold quite correctly points out aggressive driving like that creates problems and accomplishes nothing other than providing a cheap thrill to folks who really shouldn't need it. The good folks on grid usually remind mentors and ICs to drive sympathetically with the group they're driving in. I'd remove the whole thing and hope that nobody in charge ever sees it. And yes, I'm a Potomac instructor. Happy to discuss if I'm missing anything.

Thanks again 69911s for letting me take your 991 Cup for a spin on Friday. Still grinning when I think about it! Got a ride in Jay's GT3R on Saturday. That car is bonkers on so many levels.

Glad you had a good time. The GT3R is truly amazing, but mainly because of the guy who mounts the tires for it...

Dammit, looks like I missed a great weekend. I blame dgrobs, car is in the shop getting roll bar, seats and harnesses installed because he wouldn’t leave me alone all year about safety equipment.

It’s always easier tracking him down with the viper green GT3 than trying to find “yet another white cayman” in the paddock. The good news is that he does just as many miles on his bike in the paddock as he does on track so you’ll see him eventually.
