Three Wheelin'
The gearing in that car makes for lovely music. Of course Leh makes it sound even better with expert shifting technique.

Thanks for all the comments guys! This was my first time in the car. I bought it from Brady at 901 Shop at the end of Dec. I wanted to run the car "as is" and on R7's like I will in HSR. The funny thing is it's still on torsion bars and JRZ rear shocks - MCS front shocks. Brady said it drove great like this and he was right!! I am very happy with it and surprised how fast it actually was. It's a great little car. I plan to develop it a little more with MCS/spring setup and hope to go to a bit bigger tire. Will run it in HSR and a few PCA races in the future. It's just about as much fun as you can have. Here are some photos.

F1 cars run torsion bars frequently. The packaging is great and they are a spring.

another super leh video from sebring: Driving the SpeedConcepts 3.0 liter “1974 IROC” car. Tires are very used Hoosier R7. HSR race at Sebring: maybe the " used " R7s help his slide... which is constant..
note hand leg movement constant. indeed he is down to 1st gear at hairpin but up to 5th before T10!

"Very used," yeah! Man, SWEET line through T17 in the SpeedConcepts car vid.
The quickest cars in historic racing pay a LOT of attention to optimizing gearing.
The 901 Shop car is really nice to watch, the way it handles the surface irregularities at Sebring.
I recognize the Argentinian colors above the deck lid. Spent a lot of time with the driver(s) of that car and it is sweet!

On the SpeedConcepts car along with the very old tires I had a bad back left wheel bearing which was replaced after the race. So that explains alof of the looseness. That car on fresh tires and good wheel bearings should handle alot like my car. Its a 901 shop car as well. I just hopped in it for the 2nd half of the race.
