In case anybody needed a lap time comparison of car model and class "IF" GT4 were to have been lumped into the red group. Results have posted now:

Leh's .2.14.1 in a 50 year old car with no aero on DOT tires goes to show there is a serious difference between the pros and us club guys/gals. The g-sum/friction circle doesn't get more beautiful than that, he had those tires loaded up to the limit the whole time. Thanks for sharing, Collier!

Download Leh's video and then use www.comparemylaps.com to watch it synched with your own video and do some learning. It's really cool to see where these guys pick up the speed and see the time delta versus a mere mortal's lap.
Great suggestion, I've never played around with that before. Might have to do a comparison with his Panamera or Taycan lap at Road Atlanta and see where I get smoked hahahhahhahaah!

Exactly. I'd love to see him drive that thing around Watkins Glen LOL

I don't remember much of the story, but I do remember he said he had trouble getting up long hills with that car. Not much "pull".
I also remember he said it was fire engine red.
Myself, I never had the pleasure of driving one....

If I am not mistaken, the direct translation of the French name means "two horses". Perhaps that is a literal description of the engine output LOL

Seems Leh's 911 in that video has really short gears, highly adapted, maybe specialized to sebring... maybe even a dog box? Looks like 1st gear is synchro-ed as he looks to be using it to get out of the hairpin.. Also he is shifting very fast for a 915 box , wherein we are always admonished to shift slowly. ( its my first year with a full race 915 box). BTW his footwork is absolutely amazing. not shown here , but there are some others, I think Rd America in a similar car where you can see his knees move... His legs simply never stop moving, even on straights when he is checking for pedal, pad knock back etc. too bad there is no rpm data on that video. I am running a 74 RSR with little aero... and well, uhhh, never mind...
. will be trying to even remotely emulate this at Sebring SVRA this coming weekend... this video is hugely helpful to see his braking and shift points . thanks for posting.

Those gears are specific to tracks that have vMin and vMax at Sebring and similar tracks. Not a dog box, just really close ratios. Footwork is really good, for sure.
