A number of very well-driven Porsches showed up as well. Here is one chasing me:

Zone 1 48 hours at Watkins Glen just got cancelled. Info from the organizers:
It is with great regret that I write this email to inform you that this year's Zone 1 48 Hours at Watkins Glen which was to be held on June 12-14, 2020 is cancelled. There were many many factors considered in making this decision. The bottom line is with the numerous and varied restrictions currently in place, the event would not have been viable, financially or otherwise. ... At this point, we have less than half the number of registrants that we had last year.

It seems like our groups and possibly the track are being given participant limits from the state that make it near impossible financially to happen. It lets the governor say on live tv "Watkins Glen is open for non-spectator business!" but fails to mention the giant caveat. Or I could be completely wrong here.. Just venting.

We're all booked into the Town Suites Marriott in Mansfield.
We're gonna do most of our eating in the paddock though, bringing a grill and coolers full of food.
You're welcome to join us for meals. Don't wanna bring any food home.
Only caveat, you have to be wearing a mask (not while eating obviously), and be 6 feet from the other 3 of us.
Other than that, you're welcome to join us for meals and drinks. We'll be cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the grill.
Unless they make us leave the paddock as soon as the track goes cold, which they won't, we'll be doing happy hour and dinner Friday and Saturday evenings.
Feel free to join.....

Sitting at CMP with SCCA TT and having a blast. Weather is awesome and the Croc is running great.
A big shout out to Bob Saville/ NaroEscape for finding a hair pin clip for the brake caliper bolt in his tool box!!! Mine is somewhere in the under tray in the front end.
