Default A Lap Around Circuit of the Americas - Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport MR

Great weather this morning during PCA warm ups got a personal best at CoTA on some nicely used tires.

Thanks for posting and nice driving!

Would u mind sharing your suspension setting on the 718 Clubsport? I understand that the setup is based on personal preference, driving style and experience, and changes are done 1 or 2 clicks at a time, but I was thinking the following - would very much appreciate tour thoughts:

FRONT
Low bump: HARDER. To improve the initial turn-in responsiveness (too much and it will understeer)
High bump: SOFTER.
Rebound: HARDER. To improve the initial turn-in responsiveness (too much and it will understeer)

REAR
Low bump: SOFTER. To make the car put the power down better and allow a little more weight transfer onto the outside rear tire, increasing its grip level (too hard and it will oversteer)
High bump: SOFTER.
Rebound - SOFTER

Anti roll bar: Fonrt: Soft / Rear: hard

As much as I would love to answer this question for you it's not a simple answer as we have multiple setups for different tracks and I am by no means an engineer as my team BRRacing takes care of all of that for me. I just give my feed back and they setup the car.

We actually tried 3 setups before I found one I liked and it's not just turning of the *****.

My recommendation is to hire someone to come out for a track day with you so they can setup the car to your driving style.

Awesome weekend, thanks to my amazing team BRRacing was able to take a clean sweep taking 1st in my class in both races and endurance.

Here is the first race of the weekend which was pretty exciting with not even one yellow flag the whole race!

The endurance race today was also pretty awesome and will post that online later.

Thanks Peter!

Lowered the front camera a bit with an extension on my ram mount due to my wink mirror and it helped a lot with the front view while still being able to see my hands (Happy Camper).

Also diggin my new scene.

Your rear view camera being reversed still gets me every time I watch one of your videos. First lap I thought the green GT4 was dive-bombing you going into 11 except he shows up on the outside. . Takes a little getting used to.

Question: You short shift coming out of 8. Is this because you thought it was upsetting your car to shift at redline around the bump after 9? Or is there another reason?

Good races, btw. I was there in DE.

Great job Alain, great event!
Nice driving. You improved every session, all three days. Great consistency, great focus.
Fastest GT4 out there (and one of the cars was prepping for next weekend's SRO Pro GT4 race).
Can't wait to get out and do it again.

I was watching the endurance on Sunday @ 1pm. Who was driving the iFly cup? That guy was amazing. He had nearly a half lap lead before I had to leave?

What were the final results?
