It's easy. Even before you fill out an incident report and speak to the chief instructor (I assume that's typical DE organizer practice) you head over to the other driver to make sure he's ok and apologize. Agreeing to pay for the damage is a bonus but should not be expected.

I've been hit in Club Racing and I've had some people never come over and just leave the track. It took one particular gentleman over a year to apologize for ruining my race weekend and I still appreciated it.

Oh, you don’t get sarcasm, do you? 1. Anyone blaming the GT3 driver is delusional. 2. My last post didn’t “blame” anyone. I shared a fact. The Mustang driver didn’t so much as check on the Porsche driver. 3. “Going after the Mustang driver”? I sure would if I could. Could have killed a guy and didn’t even have the decency to look him in the eye and accept responsibility. I’ll “go after” that guy all day.

Sometimes, after a totally boneheaded move, I like to sit down the lead driver of Luigi Vampa Motorsports, LLC and ask him what the hell he was thinking?!

There are many times when I wish I could fire the head mechanic of Thundermoose Racing. That guy finds all kinds of ways to mess up my car through his incompetence.

Did his car go through tech. It’s hard to get past his seat moving around. I don’t know how he drove with it moving around like that. Ive never been to VIR but that seems like a dangerous turn at the end of a long straight.
I repeat this phrase every time i go to the track.

i do some scca tnia events and i like the staffs attitude. Both when you sign up and during the drivers meeting they remind everyone that this is not a race and we are all here to stay safe and have fun. If you want to race this is not the event. Sign up for racing.
