I'm guessing the guy that's in the hospital with the worst injuries is the one that gets hit by the catch fence pole as she goes through it. The pole comes down right on top of him and he drops like a stone. And then to add insult to injury it looks like the car's gearbox comes down on top of him too. I'm not sure how he made it out alive.

You think? yeah, you cant do a 170 to 0 decel in a few feet without dying
I'm pretty sure it's well below 120mph by the time she hits the building.... which is still quite amazing she survived.

The racing is flat-out AMAZING. The last three laps from last year. Now, Norris is driving for McLaren F1 and Ticktum won again this year.

Looks like they didn't have those additional blue berms at that corner last year.

Just saw news to the effect that Red bull is looking to get Ticktum an F1 Superlicence!

Mick Schumacher finished P5 at macau. He's also getting a lot of attention lately I find.

Correct. This article breaks down what factors (by design or by destiny) were in play to save thr life of Florsch (and others.)

A recent interview of Sophia Floersch. Awesome to see how she's recovered.
What a great young driver!

Wow, the male interviewer expresses wonder that a girl can drive a car at 270 KPH.

You're surprised that Piers Morgan is a pompous twit?

Recently read that Red Bull is sending Ticktum to Japan this year to race full-time in the Super Formula Championship (as they did with Gasly in 2017), which is said to be Japan's F1. Cars in the series are faster and have more downforce than F2 cars so it's seen as a real stepping stone to F1.

Here's hoping......Vandoorne also competed in the series and, for better or worse, he did get into F1

He (Piers Morgan) does refer to himself way too much in that interview
