Fingers crossed here, 500 year flood line is across the street from my home

I feel for you. Went though Harvey in Houston last year. Although I doubt it is true, it sure felt like people who didn't get flooded were in the minority. We had about 6" left on the levy and the subdivision was an island for about a week.

Thanks for good words
2006, hit the 100 year mark, 2011 established new 500 year mark.
We were surrounded by water, land locked for 4 days. But were ok. It always helps to be prepared, as much as possible. Can't stop mother nature.
The southern tier in NY doesn't seem like it would be an area prone to floods, but unfortunately it is.
The village of Watkins Glen has sure had it tough over the last 50 years.
Surveillance Drones are out flying in the pouring rain.

And through it all, they were setting up great guns for Phish--word was they had a crew of 600 (!) working for them. They had a bank of motorhomes set up for them by the grandstands....brought back memories of the Allman Bros concert and The Bog! Be interesting to see if they get it all cleaned up in time for G52 next week.....

Oh.....My......God.

With all that work they did with all those people--what a disaster. I'm sure the track is simply overjoyed....

If the Stonecat gets flooded, we are all in trouble and better be on an arch.

I would replace stone cat with two goats brewery. And an arch would be good but an ark - would be better!
