Default Sebring Club Race

Anybody look at the entrant list for Sebring lately ? There are 29 GTC3 entries to date. At this rate, by next year these cars will run by themselves in a group with or without a Challenge Series !

Rick:

I am looking forward to running with you guys at Sebring. I have retired my Carrera Cup "C" car and looking to play with you big boys...any words of wisdom?

Hey, Rick, maybe they'll give us our own "corral" in the paddock

Looking forward to it, my first time at Sebring.

Looking forward to Sebring and coexisting with the GT crowd. This year I am testing the car mid January at Roebling so I have no serious issues at Sebring. Fresh paint, motor, windshield,splitter... I think I will put a "X" on the back to keep those C3 cars from that 3 wide stuff in the braking zone of the safety pin. That seemed to be very popular last year. I am running sand tires just in case I am the outside car again.

OK, now the PCA club racing GTC3 race groups are getting bigger than a real Supercup race. This is getting good...

...and to think, I was worried about the fact there are 5 "D" class cars to run with. You guys going to start your own series?

Jim,
Judging on your past performances, you surely won't need any "words of wisdom" for Sebring !! Best of Luck !

MItch, yes I have finally decided to take the Supercup out of the garage and let it breath.

Rick, thanks for the vote of confidence. I remember a couple of years ago at Sebring, running in "D" class, where the first 10 cars qualified within 1 second of each other. I think this year, in GTC3, the first 23 cars might qualify within 1 second of each other.

I am looking forward to racing in this class. My only fear is I hope all the cars look as good after the race as before. In the European Supercup, the cars weren't that lucky.

In real Porsche Supercup racing you have very young, very hungry drivers racing literally to make their careers - and teams competing for big sponsorship dollars. In PCA club racing...

Actually, after thinking about it a little... I agree Jim. I'd be a little worried out there...

Hey Sloth;

Did I see that you and your Dad would be running the enduro together?

We are both running the enduro together, he is also running the sprint. The particular car is still in the air... hopefully the 911 is sold and we will run the silver 951 in GT3. We had the engine redone as a 2.6L to get us out of that pesky GT1 classification.
