Default GT2RS testing with elbow on windowsill

Posted in GT3/GT3RS forum too. Saw this on TV today. Motorweek testing the GT2RS on track, notice how driver places elbow on windowsill at 40sec. WOW

Haha at least he isn't gripping the A pillar through an open window like that ding dong in the video from COTA a few years ago

He's also not wearing a helmet. So I kinda doubt it was really "testing" at that moment.

Totally. Proper technique involves grabbing A-pillar and two hands off the steering wheel when in doubt. The elbow is a nice touch but the door is a bit high for that driver.

My motto is "always keep your eyes on the road and both feet on the wheel"

Or both feet on the dash if you are in the right seat!

Reminds me of The Grand Tour’s test driver “The American.”

Always kind of enjoyed MotorWeek’s home-grown, PBS-style genuineness, but they lost me earlier this year with their test of the Camaro ZL1. The driver ham-fisted it around the track, trying to achieve Chris Harris-style drifts, but only succeeded in creating massive puffs of tire smoke from the outside front tire as stability control kicked in.

I think his breakfast burrito had caught up to him and he was on the way in. I recognize that look on his face. Taco Bell Fiesta Potato FTW!
