I tend to drift towards threads that have the word "crass" in the title.

PCA local chapters officers and others have no training that I know of in Public Relations or management skills that I know of.
I was intially put into a region in which I resided but quickly changed to another region in part because of the region's officers and the way I was treated.-Richard

Okay,

I just watched the vid and all I saw...heard actually was the classical violin and piano music play softly in the background on pit out and in.

The track owner and 'Boss Man' are way outa line. This driver stayed at least a few car lengths back until that jerk brake checked him.

OP, take that kind offer to come up to Mosport and enjoy a fun day with us!

And there are plenty of options outside of the PCA there if you're so inclined--I did an open track day with a private group y-day and it was great.

Wait, the OP has not commented in the last 8 pages. RL thread gone wild. And Kibort only commented once?

These are crazy times, indeed

Damn, are we responsible to send local authorities to check up on him? I was kind of enjoying the holiday.

I do mainly open track events with some great drivers. Point bys are required in corners. It’s not racing and communication is king. Even when I’m on straight track I Point by just to let driver know I’m expecting them. There’s no harm and no downside.

The one time I contested a corner in open track with an unyielding driver in front, I had contact. I relive this over and over.

Like most of life, communication is key. So is patience.

I have been to many events at this track with this region and with my SDR group and have enjoyed every event and hope to do another one later this year. Not sure what triggered different comments by leadership there but it is not the norm. This group puts on a fine event and Scott is one of the most safety conscious people I have ever met at a track, he has always been there to help when needed and has given my wife training at various tracks. I would hate to see a thread like this end up being the cause that PCA not get the opportunity to return.

He's like Beetlejuice - you have to say Kibort Kibort Kibort and then he shows up in the thread!

I once had a track chair at a Pocono DE tell me to take my head out of my a--. But, since he was accurate, I was not offended.
