It looks like they've made some progress in the last few months. I can't wait to drive it.

THANKS for the great post & pictures! You can see the chute and carousel.........with the 2 tracks link up..........or will the 3 tracks or anything be combined?
have a great day
Joe @ Fabspeed Motorsport

PS Northeasterners may get lucky as ENGLISHTOWN raceway Old Bridgetownship New Jersey is trying to expand a BIG roadcourse so we can race within 1-2 hours. Great for an NNJR event.

Joe, do you have any new information on the roadcourse at Englishtown? The initial course has been paved now for a year (I'm out there every few weekends for karting) but the local opinion is that no one will ever race there for safety reasons. Also I've heard it was not properly permitted.
It would be great news if they can somehow enlarge it and remedy the runoff and other issues; I was ecstatic when it was announced, but it appears stalled for ~a year.

Talking AWESOME!!

Thanks for the GREAT pics!

It's exciting to realize that I live so close to the two finest racing facilities on the East Coast - VIR and the improved Summit Point.

How 'bout you Carrera 51?

I think it might be prudent to buy a nice little house out near Summit. I'd bet the real estate market is not overpriced. For probably the price of Joe Fab's RSCS I could have a small estate with a pond and a pool. No more Shoney's!

Group buy thoughts??

I'll chip in $10K for a house. Anyone else?

Sorry for the double post and I was not done posting...not good for my first post.

I would think FATT will be off for Friday, I won't be going in freezing rain....

Question for SPoint.....turn 1, second or third gear, turn 10 third or fourth?

I run third in 1 because I run out of revs and third in 10, and shift just at track out.

Thanks

SPRBXR, Great shots, thanks for posting them.

Any chance you have one (or more) that shows the entire complex (new track as well as both SPR and the JC)? I've only briefly seen one topo that included all three tracks and was quite surprised by how small an area the new Shenandoah circut occupied... to the point where I wasn't sure it was drawn to the same scale. So an arial shot of all three would be a nice reference... of course that's assuming you take requests... thanks

Sam,

Do you have any affiliation with any real estate developers or agents that you may not be disclosing?

Forklift,

I use second gear for turn 1, third gear for turn 10. I hit redline as I come out of 1.

Depends on your gearing, I guess. (And also your transmission, I have a tiptronic )

I use 2nd for T1. I believe that the car upshifts for me toward the end of the turn (the upshifts are surprisingly smooth)

T10 is 4th gear in my car. (2.5L boxster)
