What prices wil be in ten years i will leave to the fortune tellers and mind readers. My best guess is they will most likely be worth more or less.

They are the ultimate without hesitation. It will have its day in the sun and I believe this is all very healthy long term.
The world is hitting a soft patch and the Presidential race isn't helping either.
The fact is there will only be a handful of shift it yourself carbon fiber supercars. And each one is nicely different. To me this is the ultimate collection. Wonder if anyone has done it?
F1, F50, Zonda, Koenigsegg, CGT. THATS IT.

I dont think anybody here would argue that they are wonderful cars. I think the point of the recent chat on this topic has been to debunk the myth that these are 800 k to 1 mln cars that are going to scream higher. This myth has been created by postings from owners , dealers, brokers etc all trying to drive prices up over the past 6 months so they can sell. Some dealers brokers are sitting on several cars in inventory not advertised and they post on the forums to try and keep momentum in prices. The point of this site is to prvovide accurate information to fellow enthusiasts, and when it comes to a very nice normal color CGT there is simply no reason anybody here needs to shell out that much cash in this market to get a really good one. Unless somebody has to have one in PTS pus.....sy pink that has " never been driven, never been in the rain and only wiped with a diaper " then 600 to 720 k should buy a great car that hopefully somebody can enjoy for many years to come.

The sad part about this so called "accurate information" is this place only has activity in a pricing thread. I don't know how someone says what the value of a CGT unless you are a buyer or seller of that car. Each one is different miles condition history luggage paint the list goes on and that curve could be from 500k to over 1m
Truth is - dislike talking about prices but it's the only thing that goes on here so I try and divert to what the car is about vs price. Don't believe any buyer should worry about 30% up or down and if they do they will never enjoy the CGT.

Many that looked into CCX's came back with more concern over the insufficient infrastructure Koenigsegg invested in North America.
Owning an "egg" in Europe is a very different prospect, but in the US even a small issue can be an expensive & lengthy saga.
They also mentioned serious challenges with insurance coverage, even for super-car level policies, this car was not fun to insure.
The newer models (Agera onwards...) ironed out the earlier kinks, but the CCX had notable transmission & electric issues that were reportedly chronic.
Best of luck none the less !

If you want a mclaren f1, for what it must be like to drive.. But can't afford it, then buy at a carrera gt for 1/20th of the price and then actually go learn to drive the thing. I can't touch $700k for a car yet, but I would sell multiple cars to own that one. Don't be a collector or a speculator with this one, be a driver.

Throw a 500 out there. Worst they can say is no.
I personally don't think they will bite, but who knows, maybe they need to sell. As others have said, there is a huge bid/ask spread and it's not a continuous market.
