It is bad a$$. I love the homage from the 917. Really unique and fun!

Both 'Hippie' 918s, the 'Blue/Purple-Green' and the 'Yellow-Red' are scheduled to appear at Rennsport.
Let's see if David Donohue was able to bring the latter with him from Atlanta!

I can attest to the blue hippy livery being in Monterey (Minnesota Plates). Also, Mexico Blue, Rivera Blue, Pearl White, and Acid Green. Apologies to Eduardo if Porsche has a different name for the Acid Green.

Saw it today at RRV. Beautiful car. Awesome paint. Told it took 3.5 years of lobbying PAG. The paint was matched to the Simeone 917. Paints were specifically mixed to match and although there might be a code they are unique. So not Maritime blue or any previously approved historic green.

Owner is Minneapolis based and this is his third 918. Very approachable normal guy. He had a GT Silver 918 at RRV as well.

The car has made a few appearances at IMOLA (local Minneapolis car shop) over the last month. They have a few more pictures posted to their instagram page that you might be interested in seeing.

This car was also at the October Cars and Coffee event:

A number of pictures of this 918 are included about half way down this gallery. Since this was the last one of the year, many of the local high end cars were on display.

Created an account since I could finally add to some of the discussion...

Wow, that silver 918(in the last picture) looks excellent.

Is that Bill Clinton sitting in the hippie 918?

Totally agree! Is that one of the liquid metal finishes?
