IMO that is gawd awful and by definition just because you can afford one, you should not be allowed to buy one.

162435: The decals are pretty 'groovy'. I like it very much.
It's a homage to the glorious 917 era...
But do you know the name of the body color and the color code?
For example, 'Maritime Blue/Maritimblau', color code 38B. It should
have a bit of 'purple' tint in the blue hue. Thanks for posting photos
of it!

That is pretty awesome! I love the lineage to the 917 that Porsche (and the 918 owners who've requested this) have given to the 918. The 1970 LeMans winning Salzberg livery, the Gulf livery, the Martini livery and now the Hippie Livery. The only one missing now is the Pink Pig!!! Maybe I can understand why nobody would order that one and live with it daily. However a Pink Pig wrap would be pretty awesome!!! Ok, that's it, I challenge someone with a 918 to have a Pink Pig wrap made and put onto their 918! Just in the name of fun!

This car was painted like this from the factory. No stickers, decal or wrap. I will see if I can get the paint codes. The pictures were taken from an iPhone and I used the little "enhance" feature when I resized it. There was no photoshop involved. The car is painted exactly like you see it. The numbers are also painted on the car from the factory.
IF you don't like the car, that is great - you don't have to. But to suggest someone should not be able to build a car like this (as the poster going2drt above did) is in my opinion, ridiculous. Why not? It is a hommage to the great 917 race era.
Here's the original - untouched or without the "Apple enhanced" setting from the iphone. I had to delete the first picture in the post as it said I was over the limit. Here is the same picture only resized and not enhanced.
