It sold for $671,000 including buyers premium. Seems like a great deal to me.

That wasn't a great car by any means hence the sales price. Sat on the market for well over a year unsold prior to going into auction.

Hi.

It was advertised from Jan onwards so on the market for a while as you said. I think although was a 1 owner car the original middle Eastern origin may have harmed the value. Was a PTS car..

How much did the black one due Coys auction go or bid up to?

I meant to say how much did the black CGT at Coys auction on the 6th Sep go for? Did it actually sell?

That was my car. It sold having hammered at £520,000.00 plus fees and tax.

Gross to the buyer was $895,700.00

Glad you got a good number for yours. Would you know of any issues with the white one that was sold for less? I know it had 12000 miles but what was wrong with the car if any?

Generally Middle Eastern GT's are hard to shift because of the assumption that the servicing wasn't up to par in prior years and it's hard to get a comprehensive and reliable history.

On that specific car i don't know of any issues but hadn't made any enquiries. There was another white Middle Eastern car had a respray from red and stuck around for a while for similar reasons.

Hi

I knew it was yours.. Didn't want to say anything in case you wanted to keep it quiet.

You got a good price. From the description you had looked after it well. Thanks for sharing the hammer price.

The white one was an ok car but the provenance and potential misuse in the Middle East probably hit the price. Those guys have the roads to really cane their cars.. Long straights.. Look up how they drive on YouTube.. Unless it was a very low mile car I wouldn't go for one from there.

Forgot to mention, the white one was missing its luggage set. Plus there was an addendum to the catalogue that the title was in transit.. Although the guy originally selling the car is a top man with a good reputation in the business. He knows his CGTs having sold 2 or 3 in the last year alone..

No problem. I had stated previously i would share the sale of and purchase of my current and next GT to provide some actual pricing and cut out some of the speculating.

I think the market is cooling off and will be on the sidelines for now.

I am seeing the same thing, waiting to see how prices are this winter. In the meantime I just picked up a GT4 to keep me occupied.

Congrats!!
The GT4 looks like a super fun toy to drive. Saw it in Monterey and was impressed.
