Default Transport for CGT

I need to have CGT transported from Arizona to East Coast.

Dealer is telling me they use Passport Transport, but the quote I got from Intercity was $500 less than Passport (2200 vs 1700). Has anyone used Intercity for their CGT transport? My understanding is they are very reputable and can handle this car correctly although I have never used them myself ...

thanks!

I've used Intercity for high end classic cars, and they were great. I know nothing about Passport Transport.

Passport is excellent. I have used many a' hauler. intercity excellent, passport equal if not maybe more preferrable to me based on their per vehicle insurance limits. careful with certain haulers. they could have a 1mil policy on the truck/trailer, and if it wrecks in total, and they had 3 X CGTs and 2 x enzos on it , someone aint getting paid.

PAssport is a division of Fedex so you have that kind of financial stability behind them.

I agree. Forgot Passport was Fedex. They are an excellent choice too.

Actually my understanding is that Passport bought the company back from Fedex or something else going on. Check their site http://www.passporttransport.com/ no fedex affiliation mentioned.

Good point on the coverage limits ... although it seems like Intercity has $1M coverage on trailer and customer car limit:

PROBABLY. Deposit on the car is in and just a couple final checks on monday when the tech comes back to check the underbody, if all is fine then CGT FTW.

Porsche used Intercity to deliver the CGTs in the first place, so you should be in good hands.

Thanks Greg. I found that out as well after doing some research. Intercity FTW.

PM sent. Don't know of anything in particular about the car other than I believe it has been there for 4 or 5 months.
