Cost of making a bad car movie = $26 Million
Wreck two cars in a feeble attempt to promote the movie = $1 Million +
Go around saying anything you can to hype up interest in the movie, making yourself look like a fool = Free
Watch the box office climb to a staggering gross profit of $6 million = Priceless!!
Hell - this movie made more money (turn up the volume!!):
I love this opening - I know it's cheesy, it was the 80's

Supercars like the CGT require a SKILLED driver to be driven fast.....not just some *** hat with a fat wallet like this producer.....I'm sure it is possible to drive a CGT at a very fast pace and not crash it....its driving beyond your abilities that kills people.....no matter what car...its just easier for a 600hp car to get away from you.....
So you see wrecked enzo's and CGT's...but why not Ford GT's.....similar power and weight?? I guess they break down too much to drive on the track?

As much as I'd like to say that I have a 600HP Porsche that can do 60 in under 3.5 seconds, I acknowledge I am far too inexperienced to handle such a car. For now I'll stick with my 150HP four-banger 944 and maybe move into the 200 or 300HP range in a few years. At this rate I can drive a CGT by the time I'm 40!

Anyone want to lend me their car in 20 or so years?

Redline Producer falls on hard times.
See May 20 OC register. Since I am new I cant post the URL!?!?!?!?!?
High roller of home loans
Over five years, Quick Loan Funding wrote $3.8 billion in mortgages to people with shaky credit.
Critics panned "Redline." The Boston Globe called it "an action flick loaded with cars, chrome, and silicone … everything you'd expect it to be, and yet so much less: less character development, less believability, and most unforgivably, less escapist entertainment."
The $33 million movie grossed $3.8 million on opening weekend and soon vanished from theaters.
"Redline" premiered as layoffs, asset sales and bankruptcy filings soared in the subprime industry – a fate that threatens Quick Loan, too.
Sadek says Quick Loan had to buy back $29 million in loans that defaulted in the first two months. That's a number that's likely to grow.
Today he is $16 million in debt, he says. Sadek says he raised $13 million for Quick Loan by selling his cars and refinancing his Newport Coast mansion, an Irvine penthouse and a Las Vegas condo.
He believes the company is a good bet.
"Tough times don't last," he says. "Tough people do."
I hope the SC mortgage market wipes him off the face of the earth. Shyster.

People like this idiot and the public that listens to anythinmg a "celebrity" spouts off are the reason we have the government threatening to legislate stability control in every car rather than BANNING (and suggesting people LEARN TO DRIVE!!) it like they should!
