Finally saw one in the wild - San Diego
San Diego, This morning, 10:20ish, maybe a but before.
Of Course Silver, Blond guy driving West on 56.
Stayed behind, rolled down the windows to hear the roar.
I didn't know it had that exotic woop/wail. Thats worth half the price of admission right there. Awesome sound. Driver, I think, thought the same, as he repeatedly down shifted.
Anyone know this car? The License is CGT and then a number.

Maybe it was Owen Wilson, he bought a turbo a few years ago for himself, and a Prius to make the loser hollywood liberals think he's sensitive about the environment, and hot "earth chicks" as well.

Saw it again today at the same exit that he got off last time. Carmel Country Road.

Well, he either is a real enthusiast, or just really likes the sound, because the revs are ALWAYS going up and down. At the stop light, and in short bursts as he is driving.

Without the boxster, there would never have been enough money in Porsche to produce the GT. You should have felt like a proud papa.

The first CGT that I saw was when a young guy driving a black one ran a stop sign in Buckhead and almost t-boned me and my dad in his 40th anniversary 911. That would have been an expensive wreck and of course he was on the cellphone, I would be listening to the engine if I had one
