Thanks!

Car is finally going in on Monday for fog lamp fix, updated idle air hose and one or two other minor tweaks. Considering whether to do the cats too. Hmm.

@tstafford Hope you're still enjoying your car. I have one commissioned that just finally finished teardown and frame welding/fabrication. I asked the Singer team for some more information on the suspension options, but got a fairly non-specific answer in the form of a sales packet. Did you get any details as to which damper they use for their "2-way" and "4-way" options? Also, did you go with the titanium exhaust alongside the ITBs?

I've come to agree to an extent as well. While I still own a mirrorless, it's be resigned to glorified webcam duties for work, and the Q3 and iPhone are my cameras.

With that in mind, would you say the Ohlins 2 Way vs. "stock" KW v3 are worth the upgrade?

As long as Ohlins is written on your shock, youre good...and yes, it's worth it...I've got 5k miles on mine, with 700 ish track miles in the car running an ohlins TTX system ( mine was done in 2019, I feel like they've been improved even more from them but didnt car much to research as mine's already perfect). Have fun with your commission!

The waitlist before they start building your car you mean? Or total time in? Id say you're looking at closer to 4 years if you were to put a deposit on a Turbo now...maybe a little longer as they have quite a long list of deposits. Classic is fully subscribed anyways so thats a moot point.

I don't think the chassis on CGT is well developed.
the oem shocks is too stiff for most CA roads.
you count e off the pavement and lose traction. it's not in the turns. it's when going straight, that's why some find the car hard to drive.
I have not driven KW but ohlin is A MUST.
I have had a lot of shocks on race cars on street car on MTB blah blah so not new to me
most are incremental.
once I got ohlin on, the car is DIFFERENT. I have zero fear .... I rarely recommend anything ... but I was pretty amazed wiht ohlin on CGT
so muh so after it was done I put 2000 miles on in 4 weeks.

I think longer than 4.
two arrived MO both longer than 4 year hahah but worth the wait for my friends...
I would have loaded my RPG and took singer out if it took that long....
