Resurrecting this thread... Still looking for a nice 1:18 die cast of my car --2010 C4S cabrio, black on black. I have done a lot of searching and this seems to be unobtainable... Anyone have any leads...? Thx in advance.
While I await the arrival of the real 911R, my stand up sales guy got me the Porsche 1:18 scale 911R. For now I have to look at this until the real 911R arrives. My sales guy also got me the same scale 1:18 Porsche 991 GT3RS same as the color of my real car. The 911R model only comes with base color white with red stripes.

Looks like what's available is close, but no cigar.
Norev makes the 997.2 C4S cabriolet in silver or medium gray.
But I don't see one in black.
Maisto makes a 1:18 997.1 cabrio, black on tan.
Motormax makes a 1:18 997.1 Turbo cab in black. Wheels are a little bright though!
Minichamps makes this in 1:43..
There is generally more selection in 1:43.
P.S.: Your car looks great! That is one CLEAN finish!

Thank you for posting these and for the compliments on my car
I tried looking up that silver Norev but couldn't find. Where did you see it?
Thanks again!
EDIT - scrolled through all 1:18 Porsche on Carmodel.com but didn't see it :-(
LOL. I agree the 1:18 model is rarer, 911 copies versus the real deal 911R having 991 copies. Having said that, the real deal 911R are selling at least twice MSRP and so does these 1:18 models. They are selling over MSRP at EBay.

Aside from this somewhat cryptic listing, it appears the model is sold out in both colors.
(Unlike larger companies such as Maisto and Bburago, brands like Norev, Minichamps and AutoArt make certain cars in certain colors for only a few years, then they are sold out.)
Best is to keep an eye on eBay. Search terms such as "1:18 norev porsche convertible," (cabrio, cabriolet, etc.) are probably best. Any more specific and you might miss one labeled as Porsche cabrio.
It shows a picture of the WAP part number. If you can find the number for the silver one (number is probably +/- 1 on last digit) perhaps check if your local dealer can locate one on some shelf somewhere in the country?
Norev does sometimes re-release older models in different colors, but I would wager not with this model. At least not any time soon.
They made a black 997.2 Targa 4, not sure if it is an S?
Anyway, it looks like the Targa roof isn't removable to yield a cabrio (some manufacturers make the Targa/hardtop roofs removable). Get out your Dremel?
Would love to see that model in WHITE with GREEN stripes. That would be rare I think as all I have seen by far is WHITE with RED striped models.
Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1
The models are great, but what I really want to see is photos of the real deal when you have it in your possession! Congrats on being one of the lucky few!
I can only get the R in model form, same with the Singer......
