Default You Asked For It, You Got It

Thanks to Bob R., you now have a new forum for discussion of Porsche-related memorabilia.

Let's see your Porsche goodies.

Feel free to start a new topic.

Agreed. Great idea.

I don't have much in the way of Porsche memorabilia (my kids have more than I do), but my kids have received cool gifts over the years, that I will post some pics of.

Great idea boys!

I don't think I have any Porsche memorabilia yet, but would love to see what's out there and what other people have. I wouldn't mind getting in to this sort of thing! Man......... This Porsche stuff really is putting a dent in my pocket! LOL!!!!!!!

I have posted a couple of times in the 993 forum. Glad there are a few of us here that share the same affliction. I used to have a 1/18 collection but got rid of them, which I now regret. Have been hoarding 1/43 for awhile now. I need to take some pictures of them in a smaller format as I had to delete them in my previous posts.

Thanks for getting this forum going.

I am staying away from that place. I'm only on the 1st step of a 3 step program. I can never get past the admitting that I have a problem part. Is there such a thing as die-cast anonymous? It's a good thing I don't reside in Southern CA anymore. That darn collectible show in LA was like crack.

I would have gone insane there. Shame I was out of the country, I would have liked to have gone.

Hershey is going to be bad, but good! Last time I missed out an a Porsche design 1:43 chrome set of 911 Turbo's. Really nice piece and I just missed it by seconds.

Have fun in Hershey. You will surely pick-up some cool pieces. I can't tell you how many times I missed out on something at a show. You have to jump as soon as you see something you want, or live to regret it. Years ago there used to be a great swap meet in Pomona, CA. Between that one and the all Porsche Ontario show I nabbed some excellent deals.

It's a shame that most of the bigger hobby businesses in the states have gone by the wayside. I was talking to a guy that has the absolute coolest shop I have ever seen in Lyon, France and he was saying the same thing. Most of the little gems are long gone.
