David Glen 386 405 1249 is PMNA Sachs rebuilder. Depends on the condition, costs will vary as a result.

Thanks guys, I spoke to Porsche about new ones WOW he said no one buys new ones they are just so expensive , and he gave me the number of B G Motorsport at Silverstone race circuit , they charge around £250 per shock and it takes a week and iam only a hour drive to them,
If it does not work with them it seems my only option will be to send them to David who everybody seems to recommend
Anybody got any Mk1 997 cup rear shocks that are for sale as I would like to have a spare set

Jim, small word of advice: most people on RL are in the US. It might be convenient to add your location to your profile, as it might make recommending stuff a lot easier. It makes no sense to recommend you a shop to work on your car in the US, for instance I have the same issue here, being from Belgium.

my 2 cents
