One thing to be aware of is if using the Snap on/ Precision instruments split beam type such as:

You cannot use this wrench CCW ie to break the nuts lose as it will damage the wrench causing it to go
out of calibration ( ask me how I know)
If you think you'll use it to break the nuts loose you should buy the "micrometer type"

I just looked at the torque wrench. It's been in my garage for years. I think I paid $900+ for it. It has corroded a bit. The switch is locked up. You maybe able to send it back to snap-on for a reconditioning. If you want I'll give it to you. Better than it rotting away in my garage. If you want it send me your address I'll ship it to you.
