And no. 2.
Notice that they actually didn't change that much! New bumpers/ lights, new doors to get the 991.2-looks and new engine/ modified tranny to fit onto the engine. Wheels, chassis and almost all the other parts remain the same.

Ha. Just posted similar thread on other forum.
Don't understand the disappointment on styling changes. It's based on .2 GT3 body; exactly as it's always been. Real news is the motor. Time will tell how this plays out.

They claim that they increased engine-lifetime up to 100 hours and tranny-lifetime up to 60 hours. (Both 100%-increase!)
Sounds good on the first sight, but I wonder how much the rebuild for the engine after 100 hours isī? Or is it like with the R8 LMS where you can put it in a junkyard after it reached itīs lifetime of 20k kmīs?

I had heard it was different as well, but the only thing they mentioned at the launch last night was reinforcements around the rear sub-frame mount (to help protect it in a crash) and slightly modified roll cage. (symmetric design now).
