Default WTB: 996 Cup front bumper

Anyone have a used one laying around for a late headlight model? Needs to be in good condition structurally but paint quality is not important as I am prepared to repaint it. Will need to ship it to Florida. Let me know ....

GT-Racing has them $780 for the fiberglass.

Glen, it wasn't until after PBOC Winterfest that I decided it was time for another. I notched the existing one to fit a light bar and a little off track in Wednesday night practice (I literally drove myself off the inside of T1 making a pass, not realizing the track narrowed there!) left a couple of cracks. The existing bumper is serviceable but I intend to use it for enduros and get a new one for the rest.

I'm worried about the durability of fiberglass, especially with a splitter on the bottom. Another option might be to buy a regular 996 aero bumper and cut out the top vent and tow hook openings.

Go with a 996 GT3/Aero cover and cut the holes in it. I just had mine done and it looks perfect. New one from PMNA is pricey.

Buy the aero/GT3 piece from the dealer or elsewhere?

Not sure if you found one but:

- 996 Aero, PN 000 044 802 28, $1,400 from dealer, or Suncoast, or...
- Autometrics has a bumper skin for a bit less $ (new old stock, unpainted)

I was going to buy the one from Autometrics, so did not comment on this thread at the time. I have now decided to get the OEM aero locally cause getting the other shipped to Canada was just too much money (ship, duty, etc).

I thought this was the part number: 996-505-980-06-G2X ?

I ended up buying one from Reeves (Tampa P-car dealer) that just painting black and returned, so brand new in the color I needed. Paid $1800 shipped.

Besides the different part number, I though the price was much more than $1400?

$1419 @ ECS http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/00004480228/

Also searched for your number (99650598006G2X) and got the same result, so possibly the same part?

Then searched for the two @ Autoatlanta, but the 669... part number was $500 more.

Genuine v. ???

Glad you found one, and hopefully mine turns out to be the right thing Didn't feel like paying $3500 + for the actual GT3 skin, and I was "promised" that the aero was indeed the same part minus the center opening, which I will need to cut out.
